Wat Yotha Nimit

          Known as Wat Bot, this temple on Tetsaban 4 Road will offer you some historical knowledge with the magnificent murals on the wall and some ancient artifacts in the temple’s former ubosot. In the close proximity to Trat’s city pillar, Wat Yotha Nimit is the only royal temple in the province and was built in the time of King Taksin the Great who visited here for organizing the troop and were completed in the reign of King Rama III. Through the period of King Rama V, this temple had been the location for the oath of ceremony of water drinking allegiance for those who worked for government before it moved to Phai Lom Temple.
